Very simple and funny – for free!

Who’d like to see the same principle working for Boots or Virgin Megastore perhaps?

I’m a great advocate of this little site Quidco. Simply search for your shop on Quidco, click through to the shop using their link and make the purchase as normal. Within hours your transaction is tracked and a few weeks later it’s paid directly into your bank account. There are some great deals on there – I’ve recently cashed in on £70 when I signed up to O2 broadband for a year and £15 for LOVEFilm to send Free DVDs to me for a month.

In two years of online shopping we’re approaching £1000 cashback. Not bad for clicking a few links!

The next best site out there is HotUKDeals. For promotional codes, simply type your shop into the vouchers search box and more often than not you’re presented with a coupon code that will save you money. Search the site too as quite often other buyers will post good deals on your product.

Do you ever get annoyed that your music in your iTunes library has an old broken link? Well this little AppleScript will search your iTunes library and delete any of the alias’ that don’t have a music file attached to it.

Nice and simple.

1 – Open Apple Script Editor (start typing AppleScript into spotlight)

2 – Copy and paste the below code into your new window and click Run

3 – Save the script for using again in the future

A blog from your favourite London Copywriter has had some Big Hello magic and now refreshed. Built on the free blogging platform Wordpress.

Plastic bags are evil! We all know it, we just have to stop making them, using them and remember to take a couple of bags with us when we go shopping. Now its even easier with this little creation I came across a while back. The Flip and Tumble bag packs down into a tiny ball using it’s own built-in pocket which makes it easy to pop into your coat, handbag or backpack.

I ordered three bags from the online shop and have been using them on a regular basis over the last few weeks. They hold more than the average carrier bag and often get a “that’s a good idea” comment – we both throughly recommend them. 2009 was a year I’ll never forget.
